We acquired this freehold shopping centre of around.117,000 sq. ft. in a mixed-use portfolio.
We managed this discount retail centre from 2014 until its disposal to the Council in 2021. The shopping centre is a single storey scheme which remained resilient through the pandemic with a strong core of “essential retailers” who remained open including Wilko, Iceland and Savers.
During our management we rebranded the scheme, replaced outdated signage and brought in new tenants including The Entertainer, Greggs and Poundstretcher.
Union Square continues to maintain its position as the main discount retail centre in the town.
