Addington, the property investment and asset management company has let the part ground floor retail unit at Evermore, 128 Queen Victoria Street, EC4 to Garbanzos, the fast-growing Middle Eastern-inspired salad and street food concept.
Garbanzos is taking 462 sq. ft on a 10-year full repairing and insuring lease. This is at a rent of £40,000 per annum with an upward only rent review at year five. This will complement the neighbouring retail unit let to Pret a Manger.
Garbanzos offers fresh and healthy Mediterranean food and has been expanding rapidly in London over recent years. It already in ten locations in the capital and is looking to grow further. It plans to open its store in Queen Victoria Street in the second quarter of this year.
Evermore, formerly known as Old Change House was acquired by BauMont Real Estate and Addington in joint venture in March 2024. The building consists of around 55,000 sq ft of detached office space with basement, ground and five upper floors and around 3,700 sq. ft of ground floor retail. The offices are currently being completely refurbished on a rolling basis to create “best in class” Cat A specified offices. The building was rebranded Evermore in January 2025 to emphasise its new enhanced ESG credentials.
